kubota b6000e tune up

i have a b 6000e .how do you tune one of these small engines up? this is my first diesel engine. i can work on gas engines ok but know nothing about diesel .it is hard to start an i need all the help i can get .i am not a member yet an can not read all the message in here . .thanks for reading

I'd start with the glow plug system. I think they also used had a decompressor working off the cam shaft to increase the cranking speed. Any idea as to the hours? ....
